Investments

We often assist early-stage businesses companies with start-up and seed investment; we see business through to Series A and other VC investments and private equity investments.   • Advising Palatine Private Equity on the acquisition and investment in BluprintX (a global digital transformation services provider focused on delivering technology and data solutions in marketing, sales and service).
  • Advising the shareholders and management team of National Education Group (an education tech business providing digital solutions to education workforces) on its significant minority investment from Synova.
  • Advising various investors (including Praetura Ventures, Foresight, Edition Capital and Maven Capital Partners) on their investment in numerous tech businesses.
  • Acting for the sellers of Serif (Affinity software) on the sale to Canva, Inc.
  • Acting for the founders of Pebble Learning (online training software) on the investment by Northedge Capital.
  • Advising the Founders of Podium Software on the investment by Moneysupermarket.com.
  • Advising Juno Retail Limited (part of the Patchworks group) on the sale of its ecommerce (shopify) business to Tryzens.
  • Advising Babble Cloud of on all of their acquisitions since 2017, 13 in total to date. 
  • Acting since 2003 on all of CACI Limited’s UK acquisitions in telecoms, IT services, digital marketing services and similar, a total of 21 transactions to date. 
  • Sale of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Partner Three Grey Monkeys Limited to Voxtur Group Ltd.
  • Sale of Upstream Group Limited and its subsidiary, Riverbank IT Management Limited, to Air IT Limited. 
  • Acquisition of Agile Applications, SaaS software provider to the public sector, by LDC-backed IEG Group.
