What do we do?
We approach trustee board appointments by offering:
- A personal relationship: when you work with us, we’ll allocate you a Trustee Director, who is the face and voice of Entrust on the trustee board. The personal relationships between our Trustee Directors and our co-trustees are vital to the successful operation of each scheme. A dedicated Trustee Associate provides support and assistance both to the Trustee Director and to co-trustees.
- Support and experience: our Trustee Directors and Trustee Associates are supported by our wider team. What’s more, the way we work is specially designed to ensure that our collective knowledge and experience is shared for the benefit of all schemes to which we are appointed.
- An adaptable and collaborative approach: we’re happy to accept appointments to act either as chair of trustees or as one of the trustee board, providing support to the chair of trustees.
Whatever our role, we work collaboratively with employers, co-trustees and advisers to establish, monitor and refine a scheme’s strategic direction. We also manage and monitor the scheme’s advisers to ensure that it benefits from the right advice at the right time.
Who do we help?
We help any organisation that has a defined benefit pension scheme. In particular, we help trustees of those schemes to carry out their jobs more effectively and we work closely with senior management in the organisation to give them reassurance that their scheme is being well run.
