Ryan acts on behalf of developers and housebuilders on all types of construction disputes including fire safety and cladding disputes as well as claims relating to defective design and workmanship disputes. 

Ryan’s experience includes acting on behalf of claimants and defendants in respect of breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and unfit for human habitation claims. Ryan has experience assisting in high value complex claims in the High Court, Technology and Construction Court as well as arbitration proceedings. 

Experience

1. Advising developers, freeholders and insurers in relation to fire protection defects in building façade systems, following the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
2. Advising a developer in respect of breach of contract and non-performance of a consultant under an appointment.
3. Advising and defending a developer in respect of alleged electrical defects at a development.
