Rachael regularly assists on a range of pension issues, providing pension scheme trustees and employers with day-to-day advice in relation to the management and operation of their pension schemes. She also regularly advises on the pension aspects of corporate transactions.

Rachael is a full member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers.

Experience

1. Advising on the pension’s aspect of corporate transactions involving a range of pensions complications including historic DB schemes, auto-enrolment breaches and SIPPs.
2. Reviewing and drafting pension trust deed and rules.
3. Drafting pension scheme documentation including deeds of appointment, removal and amendment.
4. Advising trustees on the interpretation of scheme rules relating to how to distribute a surplus on the employer winding-up.
5. Providing legal updates to trustees.
