Nida is an associate based in the Dubai office. She is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and trained at a large international law firm. She advises buyers and sellers on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate advisory matters.
Nida completed her law degree at Middlesex University Dubai, where she was Valedictorian of her graduating class, and holds a Master’s in Legal Practice from the University of Law in London.
She has represented clients across a range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, banking and financial services, food and beverage (F&B), real estate, and engineering and construction.
Experience
- Advising a prominent UAE developer on the due diligence aspects of its AED1bn acquisition of a portfolio of commercial, school, and land assets.
- Advising Nasdaq-listed NV5 Global, Inc. on its acquisition of UAE-based engineering firm, ASG Engineering Consultants.
- Advising the sellers of Blackspoon Group, a prominent UAE F&B group on the sale of their business (including their flagship brand Allo Beirut) to Saudi private equity investor, Jadwa Investment.
- Advising Summit Group, the portfolio investee company of UK private equity investor, Sovereign Capital Partners, on its acquisition of a UAE-based corporate services provider.
- Advising the shareholders of a leading provider of subsea and offshore equipment looking to sell 100% of their shares by way of an auction sale.
- Advising Bank Julius Baer on the applicability of the Nasdaq Dubai rules and DIFC companies’ law in the proposed conversion of a convertible note.
- Advising LSE-listed pharmaceutical company, HIKMA Pharmaceuticals, on corporate governance matters.
