Michael manages construction reinstatement projects following insurance peril events, undertaking various aspects of design and contract administration from project outset to completion.

He also carries out site investigations to formulate specific defect reports which advise our clients on remedial works and offer key building surveying expertise in regard to compliance with current legislation and regulations.

Experience

1. Assisting clients through effective end-to-end management of insurance claim reinstatement projects.
2. Reviewing and advising clients on construction costs through proactive collaboration with other businesses in the group.
3. Acting as principal designer and contract’s administrator managing main contractors on site to ensure works are completed successfully and to programme.
4. Ensures all project stakeholder communications are clearly defined to mitigate potential dispute and allow efficiency of construction works.
5. Assesses the specific requirements of each client/ employer’s to formulate an individualistic approach which instils confidence in the recipient in regard to the services provided by Gateley Smithers Purslow.
