Expertise

Kenneth joined Gateley Vinden as a senior surveyor following five years working in a cost consultancy company. Prior to that he worked in Hong Kong for over 18 years, where he managed projects for shopping centres, luxury hotels, high-end residential developments and office fit-outs.

Kenneth is now using this experience to deliver a diverse range of schemes across the UK including residential, commercial and cladding remediation projects.

Experience

  1. Yeatman Court, Watford – Quantity surveying and contract administration for conversion of former Mothercare headquarters building with a 2-storey roof extension to provide 145 one- and two-bedroom apartments, including demolition of ancillary buildings. Value of project circa £18m.
  2. The Landmark, Bexhill-on-Sea – Quantity surveying and cost management for replacement of the combustible external cladding system to the 8-storey residential block. Value of project circa £5.5m.
  3. Tigris House, London – Quantity surveying and cost management for substantial re-construction of a 6-storey mansion block with basement to provide 14 two- and three-bedroom apartments and 3 retail units. Value of project circa £3.4m.
  4. Springfield Hospital, South London – Pre-contract quantity surveying and cost management for Sir Robert McApline and Kajima, who were the successful consortium for the scheme – redevelopment of Springfield University Hospital into two blocks of new, state-of-art inpatient facilities including a non-forensic and a forensic building to the rear of the Grade II listed main building.
  5. Bute Mews, Hampstead Garden Suburbs, London – Quantity surveying, cost management and contract administration for demolition of existing mews garages and construction of 6 three-bedroom mews houses with basements within a conservation area. Value of project circa £2.4m.
