Jacob specialises in advising on corporate, banking and debt restructuring transactions. He is regularly involved in complex structured finance, real estate finance and corporate lending transactions including leveraged buy-outs and general commercial lending.

Jacob acts for many of the major banks and financial institutions in the UK, private equity houses and corporate borrowers and regularly acts on multiple jurisdictional transactions. 

Experience

1. Advising HSBC Bank Plc on its provision of facilities to Oaklands Farm Eggs Limited.
2. Advising Atmosclear SA, a Swiss-based investor, on the funding arrangement for a wood pellet plant in Latvia. The transaction involved senior and mezzanine finance provided from funding from Luxembourg based bio-energy funds and complex security structures involving a number of jurisdictions.
3. Acting for The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc in relation to a term loan facility for the development of residential properties.
4. Advising The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc on restructuring of facilities, including the conversion of debt into equity stakes in borrower companies.
