Gary specialises in the consultancy area of project and cost management. He has over 20 years’ experience delivering a wide variety of projects including new build, extensions, remodelling and refurbishment projects through a variety of procurement routes utilising various building contract forms.

Having qualified as a chartered quantity surveyor, Gary has considerable pre- and post-contract project experience in both cost management and project management.

Experience

  1. Langley Sutton Coldfield – Project management/ employer’s agent services for Langley Consortium (Taylor Wimpey, Homes England, Vistry Homes, William Davis and Bellway Homes) who are working collaboratively to deliver 5,500 dwellings and up to 70,000m2 of mixed-use floorspace, including a school, elderly care facility, village hall and associated supporting infrastructure and works.
  2. Wheat Quarter – Welwyn Garden City, project and cost management services for the redevelopment of the former Shredded Wheat factory, including build to rent, hotel, care home and residential dwellings.
  3. Mission Care – Redevelopment of existing care homes to provide new high specification 70-bed care homes.
  4. HM Treasury/ Department of Transport/ Highways Agency – Leading the private finance (PF2) business case development for £2bn Stonehenge Tunnel scheme. Works include costing and packaging up the infrastructure works to be undertaken including tunnel, roads, roundabouts, split grade junctions, bridges, viaducts, signalling structures and utility diversions.
  5. Health care – delivery of project and cost management services for both private and public hospital/ medical centre projects.
