Claire advises on a wide variety of commercial disputes for a range of clients. She specialises contentious probate/ inheritance claims and is experienced in dealing with media litigation, contractual claims, professional negligence, shareholder and partnership disputes, and enforcement action.

I have an overwhelming determination to find the right solution for my clients which I ensure is delivered in a friendly and accessible manner. Clients come first. I put clients at ease with straight talking advice. Having undertaken an apprenticeship through the Institute of Legal Executives before qualifying as a solicitor in 2009, I have over 15 years of experience in dealing with clients in complex litigation. Because of this, I am knowledgeable and capable litigator, dedicated to giving practical and strategic advice to clients.

Experience

  1. Acting for the defendant in the case of Frontier Systems Ltd trading as VOICEFLEX -v- Frip Finishing Limited EWHC 1907 (TCC).
  2. Successfully defending a claim for £35,000 of fraudulent telephone calls made by a third party who hacked into the defendant’s telephone system provided by the claimant.
  3. Successfully recovering over £100,000 on behalf of disappointed beneficiaries under a will, when the will was negligently drafted such that the family members of the deceased were due to receive a lower percentage of the Estate than the deceased intended.
