Cher’s role involves supporting investment and trade agencies with economic development and job creation initiatives. Additionally, she attracts and supports high-growth businesses across the globe by identifying and evaluating the most suitable markets for overseas investment.

She was part of Inward Investment team within the Growth Works Programme, offering tailored advice and guidance to knowledge-intensive businesses in sectors such as Advanced Manufacturing, Cleantech, Life Sciences, and Technology, as they pursued international expansion opportunities.

She planned and executed comprehensive digital marketing strategies to showcase Cambridgeshire and Peterborough region, while also aiding investment generation initiatives in Western Switzerland.

She is also supporting World Trade Center Miami to develop their upcoming Aerospace and Defense Trade Show in February 2025, by creating and managing the relationships with the right clusters to promote and support the growth of their new event.

Originally from Malaysia and fluent in multiple languages, Cher holds a Master of Sciences in Marketing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with Marketing from the University of The West of England. Her passion for all aspects of marketing equips her to empower her to guide clients on their journey to enhance business growth.
