Expertise

Charlotte is a chartered occupational psychologist specialising in assessment, development and coaching. Her experience spans the breadth of Kiddy’s services and her main focus is on developing cutting-edge, future focused and fair assessment and development processes that accelerate leaders’ development. She has specialist knowledge, and several pieces of published work, on inclusive leadership, female ambition and blockers to female career progression. She recently led on the development of Kiddy’s new ‘Future of Leadership’ model, identifying the critical behaviours needed for leaders to continue to be successful in a more remote, fast-paced working world.

Her assessment and development work involves leading largescale international programmes. She delivers on 1:1 assessments for development, succession and critical role appointments at executive level and runs development centres for emerging leaders to help fast track their development. She regularly uses psychometrics and 360-degree feedback, alongside interviews and simulation activities to enhance individuals’ self-awareness. She has supported individuals with critical challenges such as defining their personal brand, building their networks, influencing others and managing change.

Charlotte also has expertise in running development programmes and workshops, with particular focus on female leadership or inclusive leadership development. In addition, she facilitates sessions around future focused leadership behaviours, including developing purpose and being more strategically aware of future organisational challenges.

She has worked with a variety of international organisations across the public, private and charitable sectors, including organisations in the FMCG, energy, retail, telecommunications, and financial services industries.

Prior to joining Kiddy and Partners in 2020, Charlotte worked for an international talent management organisation which focuses on early talent selection, high potential identification and leadership assessment for selection and development.

Charlotte has a Masters in Organisational Psychology from City University, London, is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with the British Psychological Society and HCPC. She is a qualified test user with leading psychometrics, including PAPI, OPQ, NEO, Hogan, 16PF and EIP.

Experience

  1. Leading on and delivering 1:1 development assessments for the top 200 leaders in a large, international FMCG organisation. The solution included interviews and psychometric input, supporting the client to embed a new values and behaviours framework and benchmark their top 200 leaders’ development needs.
  2. Delivering development centres for a large international financial services organisation at the ‘senior manager’ equivalent level. This development centre experience involved interview and simulation exercises, as well as feedback and development planning support to help these senior managers accelerate their development more purposefully on the route to partner.
  3. Design and deliver a female leadership programme for an asset management company, comprising insight sessions for participants, workshops, group coaching and strategic business assignments.
  4. Delivering personality focused coaching sessions to 75 senior leaders in a large financial private sector organisation, supporting them to drive a restructuring programme and digitisation initiative.
  5. Using Kiddy’s ‘Future of Leadership’ research to support and international energy company with developing and streamlining a new behavioural framework for use across the business at all levels.
