Ammarah is a UK qualified corporate associate with over five (5) years of experience advising both domestic and international clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. She is licensed by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Dubai Legal Affairs Department.

Her practice encompasses mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, restructuring, succession planning and company secretarial matters. Ammarah has a strong track record of providing strategic and transactional support to clients in various sectors including (but not limited to) education, asset management, manufacturing, energy and family offices.

Before relocating to Dubai, Ammarah practised as a solicitor at a top 100 UK law firm, where she advised a range of companies, management teams and investors on mergers and acquisitions, refinancing transactions, and corporate reorganisations.

Known for her meticulous due diligence and precise documentation, she excels in navigating complex legal frameworks and engaging effectively with regulatory authorities, earning trust as a reliable advisor in high stakes scenarios.

  1. Advising Evolution Aqua Limited on a UK-based group restructuring and subsequent £12,000,000 private equity investment by BGF.
  2. Acting for Operam Education Group Limited on the acquisition of Bridge Education Recruitment Limited, a UK transaction supported by growth investor BGF.
  3. Assisting one of South East Asia’s largest asset managers with legal due diligence for its USD 10,000,000 strategic investment into a leading UAE based financial advisory firm.
  4. Advising Jacobs & Thompson, a Canadian manufacturer of elastomeric foam products, on its cross-border acquisition of Ramfoam Limited, with operations spanning the UAE and UK.
  5. Advising a leading global automotive company on licensing requirements, corporate structuring, and compliance across its UAE operations, including regulatory review of commercial contracts.
  6. Serving as Company Secretary for four (4) major power plants in the UAE, attending board meetings and providing support with corporate governance and company secretarial matters.
  7. Advising New Mountain Capital on its investment in the cross-border business combination of Grant Thornton UAE and Grant Thornton Advisors LLC.
  8. Supporting leading family groups in the UAE and Kuwait on comprehensive wealth and succession planning, including establishing DIFC foundations and preparing bespoke by-laws and charter documents.
