Our regulatory team have helped All England Netball with a proposal that’s secured £15,000 from Sport England, allowing them to put in place support and guidance to ensure netball will be Covid secure.

The cash injection comes from Sport England’s Community Emergency Fund, which aims to help community sport and physical activity organisations experiencing short term financial hardship due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

We were able to provide support and advice to All England Netball to ensure they put forward the best proposal to Sport England. Advice included advising on the drafting of documents, discussing issues with the management board as well as members, ensuring they covered everything off from risk management and commercial context.

The successful award of the grant has allowed All England Netball to provide their members with the support and guidance required to get clubs back playing netball. We have been instructed to advise on the risk management plans, which will enable netball to be Covid secure whether at elite or grassroots level.

We are providing ongoing surgeries for All England Netball members to ask any questions in relation to re-opening post Covid and our team will ensure members understand their obligations, and how they can make their club and sport Covid secure.

What was the problem?

All England Netball wanted to access funding to enable them to procure advice to get netball Covid secure and people back playing.

How did we help?

We provided advice and guidance on their proposal and now ongoing advice on their risk management and commercial issues.

This allowed them to access funding to enable them to provide members with the guidance they need to start playing again.
