St Lawrence Denton is a grade 2* listed church in East Manchester.

The Nave is medieval and has been dated by tree ring samples to 1431 and is the most intact medieval timber framed church building in England (source: Dr Mike Nevell, ‘St Lawrence Denton’. Salford University School of Archaeology 2010).

We have have overseen external repairs programmes since 1998 and more recently have overseen the internal alterations to form a new Vestry office, servery, wheelchair suitable WC and baby change together with a new community meeting room located in the south transept.

The works included new underfloor heating and internal redecoration. The works are distinguished by the new solid oak glazed screens to the community room and the installation of a new platform with nave altar.
