We oversaw the insurance-related repairs to the grade 2 listed St Andrews Anglican Church in Ramsbottom; following a devastating lightning strike that destroyed part of the church tower and caused extensive damage to the church interior.
The tower and the north-east pinnacle were rebuilt together with re-roofing works to the nave as well as the rebuilding of the west end balcony and narthex/ entrance areas. The completed works included improved toilet and kitchen facilities and the installation of an enclosed meeting room under the restored balcony. Redecoration, rewiring and new lighting completed the transformation.
