In a joint project between Trafford MBC and Life Church, Manchester, a new building was designed to replace outdated community facilities.
The site limitations meant that the 400 seat auditorium would be built at first floor level with the facility to open into the large hall alongside for larger gatherings. Meeting rooms on the first and second floor supplement the facilities on the ground floor, which include a large café and dedicated community facility spaces. In order to accommodate the number of required spaces, the parking area to the rear extends beneath the new accommodation.
