Colleagues from Gateley RJA recently volunteered at the Leicester South Foodbank’s regional distribution centre, who, over the last 12 months, have given more than 20,000 emergency food parcels to its 25 food bank centres across South Leicestershire.
The team helped by packing 88 vegetarian food parcels to provide people with three days’ worth of food in the Leicestershire region.
Assistant quantity surveyor Seth Brown, said: “Volunteering at the food bank was an incredibly rewarding experience. It’s amazing to see how a little help can make a big difference in people’s lives.”
