Our national Talent Development team recently volunteered at the Heart of England Forest's Middle Spernal Farm site, where they had the important task of removing tree guards, which are essential for protecting young trees from excessive deer browsing.
The team’s removal of the guards significantly supported the nurturing and maintenance of the forest, and the day culminated with a guided tour, giving the team the opportunity to explore more of the forest and learn about the charity’s future vision.
