Over the past few years, we’ve proudly supported Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) as our national charity partner, contributing to their vital mission of finding a cure for dementia.
We’ve done this through a variety of initiatives, including a Wear it Orange Campaign, which saw our people wear orange wristbands, badges, and clothing, a charity skydive, all-orange charity trolleys providing refreshments and games, a charitable contribution to aid in research into frontotemporal dementia (FTD) at King’s College in London, boardroom pledges for the ARUK team to plan their future fundraising sessions, and the Ultra-Challenge Peak District Walk where our colleagues braved distances of up to 100km.
ARUK said: “One in two of us will be directly affected by dementia in our lives, either by developing the condition ourselves, caring for someone with it, or both.”
As the UK’s leading dementia research charity, they are determined to stop this from happening.
By choosing to support ARUK as our charity partner and raising £26,305.12 for dementia research, we have helped the charity take one step closer to finding a cure for dementia.
