We are pleased to be celebrating double shortlisting success at the 2024 National Infrastructure Planning Association (NIPA) awards.

Gate Burton Energy Park has been announced as a finalist within the ‘Best Project’ award, where we formed part of the successful team. Technical director, Jessica Bere, has been shortlisted for the ‘Early Years Practitioner (EYP)’ accolade.

The ‘Best Project’ award is designed to identify and showcase best practice within the planning for and delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs). Launched this year, the new EYP category builds on NIPA’s diversity and engagement strategy to recognise and celebrate contributions from early years practitioners.

James Dewey, director and head of infrastructure and compulsory purchase at Gateley Hamer, said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted across both categories at this year’s NIPA awards. We played a key role in supporting a successful client and professional team with land agency, land access, land referencing and GIS services for Gate Burton Energy Park. So, it’s great to see the scheme, the client and the whole team of advisers receiving industry recognition. It’s also brilliant to see Jessica shortlisted within the new EYP category and to be able to shine a light on her outstanding efforts in the delivery of exceptional client work, as well as her support for the development of our junior team members. Our team is very much looking forward to celebrating with all the worthy finalists, winners and industry peers on the night.”

The winners of both categories will be revealed at the black-tie annual awards dinner taking place on Thursday 21 November 2024 at The Brewery, London.
