Our IT team recently sorted through old equipment that had been placed in storage. The items that were in good working condition were donated to Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet).
Two T-Level students from BMet, have spent the past 18 months working with our IT team. They are now both valued colleagues who inspired the team to make the donation to help equip students.
A spokesperson from BMet said: “We are extremely grateful to have received a large number of computers and networking hardware from Gateley. The equipment has been wiped of all data and will be used in our digital lab for our T-level students to work on. It has been a fantastic experience working with Gateley throughout the last two years, and they have provided great work placement opportunities for our T-level students.
“Thank you Gateley for your support with both the work placement and the donation of computers.”
