Cameron Day, an apprentice project manager in our Birmingham IT team, ran his first ever marathon in Madrid on behalf of IT business analyst, Amy Fletcher, who sadly lost her baby in 2018.

His marathon effort pulled in over £1,000 for Tommy’s charity, who provide expert advice and fund pioneering research to prevent stillbirth, miscarriage, and premature birth.

Cameron said: “It’s been a hell of a journey to get here from when I signed up last year. I have gone through injuries and setbacks, but despite that I have put absolutely everything I had into it. I crossed the line in tears thinking about Amy Fletcher and all the money that everyone helped me raise for Tommy’s charity.”
