We have advised LDC and the individual sellers on a sale of the entire issued share capital of Dale Erskine Power Solutions Limited to NVM Private Equity and an MBO team.
Dale Power Solutions is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of service and support providing complete asset lifecycle management to Generators and UPS. Its key clients include NEC, Siemens, National Grid, ISG, Mitie, Northern Power Grid, Vodafone and Thames Water.
Our team, led by Corporate associate Beth Mather, comprised partner Tom Durrant and solicitor Matthew Flint (Corporate), senior associate Simon Slade (Tax), partner James White (Real Estate), solicitor Helen Webster (Employment), solicitor Paul Wild (Pensions), legal director Kirstin Roberts and solicitor Karen Anderson (Commerce, Technology & Media) and solicitor Oliver Woodhouse (Regulatory).
We advised the sellers on their exit and provided full vendor due diligence.
Denzil Lee, Chairman of Dale Power Solutions, said: “The team at Dale is excited with the new opportunity of working with NVM to further develop our core business and exploit the significant opportunities in the new and fast developing energy storage sector. We used Gateley on the original buyout of the business and given that support we wanted to use them on the exit. Tom, Beth and their team did another great job of supporting us throughout this deal too.”
Associate Beth Mather said: “We’re delighted to have advised on this deal; it took several months to bring it to completion with many false starts along the way. I hope the new partnership with NVM will be a great success for the team at Dale and we look forward to working with them again in the future.”
