Our corporate team completed two deals for independent private equity business YFM Private Equity Limited in October 2019.
The first deal we advised on was a £4.5m investment in SharpCloud Software Limited to support the continued growth and roll out of its enterprise SaaS product.
SharpCloud provides powerful top-down software tools that allow large organisations to visualise complex data across siloed lines-of-business. Since its launch in 2012, SharpCloud has seen rapid growth, with organisations ranging from Rolls-Royce to the US Federal Government using the product to unlock key insights and support executive decision-making.
The second deal was an investment into Professional Music Technology Limited (PMT) to assist its acquisition of S&T Audio Limited.
Founded in 1991, PMT is the UK’s leading multi-channel retailer of musical instrument and professional audio products. The business operates through 15 stores in the UK, employs over 200 staff and generates revenue in excess of £40m per annum.
