We have advised SecurityBridge, a leading provider of a comprehensive SAP-native cybersecurity platform, on its acquisition of CyberSafe.

The transaction represents the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of CyberSafe, which is a UK-based security software vendor that provides standards-based solutions to enable enterprise-class single sign-on (SSO), policy-based multi-factor authentication (MFA) and step-up authentication (SUA) for mission-critical SAP business applications.

Headquartered in Germany, SecurityBridge is the creator of the Cybersecurity Command Center for SAP. The acquisition of CyberSafe will enrich SecurityBridge’s platform capabilities through the integration of CyberSafe’s TrustBroker® products, elevating SAP security to a new level.

Our team was led by corporate partner Oliver Harker, supported by corporate senior associate George de Stacpoole, corporate solicitor Aza Cabrera, tax senior associate Anamika Pandey and tax solicitor Steven Spisto-Luces.

Christoph Nagy, CEO and Co-founder of SecurityBridge said: “This acquisition reinforces our mission to ensure no SAP system or customer is ever compromised. By integrating TrustBroker with our platform, we enable customers to apply passwordless MFA across all SAP workflows, without compromising usability. However, customers can still use TrustBroker products standalone.”

Oliver Harker added: “We are proud to have advised SecurityBridge on this strategically important acquisition. CyberSafe’s authentication technology is a natural fit for SecurityBridge’s platform and will significantly enhance its cybersecurity offering for SAP users. This transaction demonstrates our growing expertise advising on transactions in the technology sector, where we continue to support innovative businesses on complex, cross-border deals.”
