Advising on the sale of Peppermint Technology to Litera

We have advised the selling shareholders and management on the sale of Nottingham-based cloud software provider Peppermint Technology to Litera Group.

Founded in 2010, Peppermint Technology specialises in providing innovative technology solutions including case, client, matter and document management applications, underpinned by Microsoft Dynamics and delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS), specifically for clients in the legal sector.

Litera is a global provider of best-in-class workflow software, including cutting-edge AI solutions, for the world’s most innovative law firms. Its products currently support over 2 million professionals in 70 countries through its desktop, mobile, tablet, and online applications.

Our team, who have advised and supported Peppermint Technology for over seven years, was led by partner and Nottingham head of corporate Victoria Elliott, alongside corporate senior associate Rachael Mitchison, corporate solicitor Joe Girgis, corporate paralegal Elizabeth Cole and graduate solicitor apprentice Charlize-Li Clark. The team were also supported by employment partner Paul Ball and tax partner Bernhard Gilbey.
