On Tuesday 28 March we held a networking event with a difference – our first wheelchair basketball tournament in partnership with SportsAid.
Teams were able to compete in the Spark Trophy Tournament, which took place at University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness. Make Change ran the event, which featured several SportsAid ambassadors.
Attendees were able to learn more about our Spark networking forum, catch up with old contacts and make new ones.
Spark is aimed at the next generation of business professionals, who are looking to establish new connections and grow their professional network.
Spark is our networking forum that was formed for the next generation of business professionals across the UK, we have branched out into Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham and this November we are also launching in the city of London.
Our series of Spark events are designed to provide opportunities to connect with people who are also building their professional network and a chance to meet new contacts in an informal and friendly setting, while also providing the opportunity to get together throughout different points of the year and enabling individuals to maintain those connections which will play into their professional lives as they grow in their careers.
