What the Dubai office does

Construction: our team work with clients on non-contentious matters like engineering, procurement and construction contracts, as well as complex disputes where we help clients involved at all stages of a major construction project.

Corporate work: we help clients set up companies or establish branches or representative offices in Dubai as well as handling agency and sponsorship arrangements. Our corporate lawyers advise on mergers and acquisitions and disposals, equity capital markets, private placements, privatisations and restructurings.

Real estate: we advise local and international developers and investors on high-profile projects, including luxury resorts and hotels, developing shopping centres and residential developments.

Employment: we serve private clients, national and multi-national clients from all industry sectors on employment, compliance and immigration matters on-shore and in the various free zones including the DIFC and the ADGM. We advise on all contentious and non-contentious HR issues including recruitment, termination, employment disputes, corporate reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, company policies and procedures. Our specialist team have experience handling the more complex employment issues, which include workplace investigations, global mobility of employees, cross jurisdictional matters including temporary assignment, secondment, and cross border engagements. 

Resolving disputes: our team handle all types of local, regional and cross-border disputes, with particular expertise in issues pertaining to construction, energy, shipping, aviation and real estate. Our team are skilled in knowing when and how to litigate and when to seek alternative means of resolving disputes and have experience in multi-party international disputes.
